OMG what a day. Yesterday was just as bad. Often times two of us on the phones is just not enough.
The weather continues to be soggy here. I have to admit the autumn colors against the gray sky are absolutely stunning. There is good in everything......yes?
I don't do much these days. I go to work, work hard, then come home and veg. My favorite hobbies at the moment are reading and playing online. What a life eh? But it's MY life so there *sticks out her tongue*. Mature .........yes?
What else can I tell you? I watch the commercials on TV for Lowe's and when the paint section comes on I look around my living room and go hmmmmmmmmmm. I am in need of some heavy drapes to put over the living room windows and kitchen sliders. I'm sure more of the heat will remain in the house when I do. I have a townhouse style apartment so I've shut up both the bedrooms and bathroom to help heat the downstairs. I love to sleep cold, so I'm not bothered by a cold bedroom. I can't say the same for my son. Perhaps I'll have to invest in a heating blanket for him. I swear he stays cold ALL the time. I have enough fat on me to help insulate. Again, good in everything.......yes?
As winter sets in I am getting the writing bug again. I may have to settle down in the evenings and hammer out some short stories or something. It would be an anomaly to actually finish a story. Usually I'm good for a few short paragraphs and that's it. Perseverance..........yes?

I got a small $15 heater to put in the boys room cause it stays cold in there. It's been perfect for it.
Also, consider getting black out material from Joann's. Helps a ton. That's what we're doing in this drafty old house.
It's nice that you're in the middle though so you get insulated by the other places.
I'll have to go check Joann's out. I forgot about the black out material. And true, being in the middle I'm sure helps a lot.

Dear Leanne, do write the stories, there are many places to get them published too... you needn't do it in one session, a few paragraphs here and there soon add up like pennies in a jar. Just DO it... you will be amazed at how quickly it will grow... what a legacy to leave those you love and admire so much...
You're a gifted writer Leann. It's a great creative outlet. Get a bright light to chase away the gray and rainy days you talk about and escape.
I'm sorry about your not seeing your son's child, and another one possibly on the way. It's hard to have to handle heartache.
